Producing Video Testimonials for GRIN… “these are affordable”, states DW Video Owner Duane Weed.
At DW Video we love producing video testimonials and promoting Michigan. We are working with the Grand Rapids Inventors Network promoting the organization and its members. “Developing a product is a marathon” states John a member of the Grand Rapids Inventors Network. John a Michigan inventor (Johnny Ball) believes you have to believe in your product 100 percent and not give up. The networking possibilities are a great benefit of the organization.
Our approach when producing video testimonials is to keep it real. These do not have to be expensive and in the case for how we produced the videos for GRIN, the production is hundreds of dollars… not thousands. Here is the video we produced:

Bear Hunt in the Lake Gogebic area.
Looking back over thirty years of DW Video seems like yesterday. The projects, the people the experiences. WOW, what a ride. Looking back at one of my first jobs. Was contracted by Norm Benzing to video a bear hunt in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan around the Lake Gogebic area. Being crammed in the back of a Bronco for the long ride north full of gear was lets say, an experience. Once we arrived at camp one of the first things to learn was how to use a sissor jack style tree stand. Later that day we headed to the woods and little did I know my adventure was just beginning. We picked out the tree and up the tree I climbed. Once at the top, set the stand into the tree, put on the safety harness, turned and placed my weight on the wrong part of the stand releasing it. As the stand scissored to the ground leaving me hanging from the strap. Looking down at Norm he grabbed the the stand and brought it back up to me. Believe me the rest of the night seemed really long as I was afraid to move. Fast forward to walking out of the words that night. Turning to Norm I said “Sorry for ruining the hunt”. He stopped and started laughing, almost uncontrollably. For the rest of the trip my ribs were very bruised. We did not get a bear, but hanging from a tree is the one time in thirty years of DW Video that still hurts my ribs when thinking about it.

“Duane has always been very open to accommodating our needs,” Siterlet says. He explains that Weed has been great about grasping what Thermal-Tec does as a company and then finding ways to communicate that visually. From scriptwriting to editing, Siterlet says that Weed worked on the whole process.

DW Video produces a variety of digital media content to help Michigan businesses. Services they provide include brand promotion, website videos, corporate videos, web site design, web applications and more. DW Video also films special event videos such as sporting events, competitions and recitals. Other services include transferring Video and Film to DVD.
Tom Ludwig, owner of Camp Bil-O-Wood in Ontario, Canada has also worked with Weed for nearly 30 years. DW Video has produced promotional videos for the children’s camp. Weed would film onsite, capturing video of the camp’s programs and interviewed staff members, campers and their parents.
