Producer-Director Duane Weed is here to help you adapt and modify your image.
Adapt and Modify has been a way of life for me for many years. A few years ago I was teaching a multi-camera video course at a local High School. The Studio 2 class was set up to record performing arts concerts with four cameras. The night of a show we were a couple two people short – a camera and audio/graphics/live feed person. The show must go on and we needed to adapt to our situation. With the way our cameras were set up camera 1 and 3 are in the upper portion of the auditorium. That camera person would set up one camera on a static shot and then move to the other camera and work it. After a few takes would then lock that camera down and move to the other. This kept a flow going and one watching would never know we only had one camera person for two cameras. This person did an awesome job. Up in the booth I directed and ran the entire show – audio, graphics, directing, switching and live feed. So as mentioned we modified our setup to meet the demand of the ‘live’ performance.
To begin lets first look at the meaning of each word. Adapt: make (something) suitable for a new use or purpose. become adjusted to new conditions. Modify: make partial or minor changes to (something), typically so as to improve it or to make it less extreme.
In life, in business we adapt and modify all the time. When a situation comes up we adapt. Then look at ways to modify for desired results. By taking this approach you can improve your business, personal relationships and goals.

Building trust in business is like building trust in life. We trust in God, we trust in our spouse. We also know our customers need to trust in us. Your goal as a business or organizational leader is to provide opportunities to build trust. How do we do this? First and foremost, provide the best product and service that you can. Second, toot your own horn. Open the gates and share your story with your customers and prospects.

Video is a great tool in your toolbox for building trust in business
DW Video provides a great opportunity to build trust in business with our Buy Local Video Profiles. Build trust in business with a series of short video profiles highlighting the key personnel in your businesses. From the owner, CEO, marketing people, foreman to your sales and service staff.
What is trust in business? It is about building relationships. Building a level of confident. Trust is a bi-lateral relationship—one trusts, and the other is the trusted. Like our relationship with God, his word states he will take care of us, we must trust in him.
Buy Local Video Profiles build trust trough content. Create meaningful content about your product and services. Tell your story in a way that differentiate you from your competitors. Be real – no hype is key to building trust in business.
In a video we produced for the Wheatlake Cancer and Wellness Center I had Susan provide the opening for the video. A cancer survivor herself, and the person behind the brand her on-camera open provides trust on business.

Customer testimonial videos build relationships about your products and the people who use them. In this example the maintenance manager for Braddock Metallurgical shares how our client ‘Steeltech’ products outlast the competitors. The approach is real, not an actor, he shares his experience firsthand.

Interviewing the engineer that builds the equipment at Reed City Tool as he shares the benefits their press system truly builds trust in business.

From 1984 to the present… Producer/Director Duane Weed loves what he does and it shows.

Instructional videos teach others. This builds your credibility and puts you as the expert.
In August, DW Video Multimedia, LLC will celebrate 30 years in business. Today, an anniversary of a special sort… Brenda and I have been married for 27 years on this date.
Over time many things have changed. However, one thing has not. businesses need to promote their services to both prospects and current customers. During this time DW Video Multimedia, LLC went through changes as well. In 1984, the business began as Duane Weed Productions, then it was Duane Weed Video Productions and finally DW Video & Multimedia.
Just like with promoting with video. Back in the day we were duplicating tens of thousands of VHS copies. Businesses would hand them out as candy to promote their services. One huge problem, sharing. Only if you had the VHS tape would you see their message. Fast forward thirty years and video still means business, with one huge benefit… sharing. Sharing on-line is huge. If it is on your website, sharing on youtube, linkedin and facebook to name a few. Today, your message is available 24/7.
Call Duane at 231-937-5420 to discuss your project. From Corporate-Business Videos to Consumer Videos… we do it all.
Telling your story is what we do. In this example, emotion sells. One producing style we use is keeping it real. Real people, telling real stories.
