I had the opportunity to spend a year capturing the beauty of Northern Michigan and producing this Buy Local TV segment. It was hard work… but…. if I had to do work like this, what a rough life.
Visit Mackinaw: Of the three million visitors to the Mackinaw area each year, no two have vacations that are exactly the same.
Visit Sault Ste. Marie: The Soo Locks, one of engineering’s greatest feats as giant ships from around the world make their way through one of the world’s busiest ports. Joining Lake Huron and Lake Superior, ships rise and fall 21 feet to continue their journey.
Visit Saint Ignace: The Straits of Mackinac is the crossroads of the Upper Great Lakes. With St. Ignace’s rich variety of lodging and dining opportunities to serve as a vacation base. Lodge here and travel.
Need a corporate or business video? Have old film, slides and videotape that needs to be transferred? We are here to help – Contact DW Video today!

September 11 2001 is a day that will go down in history. Fellow video producers Dan Salas (Positively Michigan) and Duane Weed (Buy Local TV) come together on 9-11-12 to share videos they produced on 911. Take a moment to reflect on our nation and the people. God Bless Michigan and God Bless America.

According to the History Website: “On September 11, 2001, 19 militants associated with the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda hijacked four airliners and carried out suicide attacks against targets in the United States. Two of the planes were flown into the towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon just outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. Often referred to as 9/11, the attacks resulted in extensive death and destruction, triggering major U.S. initiatives to combat terrorism and defining the presidency of George W. Bush. Over 3,000 people were killed during the attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C., including more than 400 police officers and firefighters.” CREDIT: Author History.com Staff Publisher A&E Television Networks, LLC

September 11 2001 – is one of those days, I remember where I was and what I was doing.
