Website video tells your story - Big Rapids

Before the cameras are rolling a script and or outline is needed.

If you have a product or service… website video tells your story.  Producing your story takes time to plan, arrange and make sure it stays in line with your brand and marketing message.  Video Storytelling is an art form.  This is your business, school, church or non-profit.  Your message needs to speak to your audience.  One way is with a quality script.  Words and Visuals… these combined tell the story.  Without the proper content the best visuals usually will not sell, market or train anyone.

In a recent video we produced for Benson Products for their Splash Count – the portable timer.  We called on Kathy Murphy to write the script and owner Lynn Beneson do the on-camera work. Kathy also wrote the script for Larco Products VZ Hang Video and for Dr. Harpreet Singh’s iCrush5K video.

Website video tells your story, no matter what industry you are in.  Website video is 24 – 7, can be shared on multiple web and social media sites.

Getting back to the script it is best to outline your project before you write it. Remember those last minute term papers?  Look at making it real and creative for your market.  A scriptwriter is important in telling your story.

Safety Video

When producing a training video we start with a script, the goal is to keep it simple and not to ramble. The script is our guide to getting the digital video shots needed for the final production.  Very important to be prepared.  For this shoot I used two cameras to get the various shots needed.

A couple more tips when producing saftey and training videos – Keep it as short as possible.  Like I mentioned – don’t ramble.  Audio is 90% of a good training video.  Capturing the wild or natural sound and blending is important.  Recording the talent either on-camera or in a booth – the step by step procedure narrated needs to be clean.

The final version of this video was then edited Spanish as well.  Watch the video to learn more about training and safety videos for your business. Then call Duane at 231-937-5420.

According to http://study.com/academy/lesson/safe-working-conditions-purpose-lesson-quiz.html, “Every year millions of people are injured on the job. Learn more about the laws governing workplace safety and the programs in place to compensate injured workers and their families. Each year almost three out of every 100 workers will suffer a workplace injury or illness serious enough for them to miss work.”  The article goes on to state, “Under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, employers are responsible for providing a safe and healthy work environment. The Act requires employers to comply with specific occupational safety and health standards and to keep records of occupational injuries and illnesses.”

At DW Video we work with you and your staff in producing just the right video to keep your employees safe.
