There’s no doubt that video commercials work on television and that video works on the web. Producing a quality video commercial, company image piece and/or video profile for your website helps keeps eyes and your sit longer and helps tell your story. Video commercials on the web help create as experience for your prospects and customers.
Utilizing good quality video content on-line is an ideal way to connect with people. I have said this many times, “People like to connect with people they know and trust.” Connecting with others and sharing your products and services is key to winning new customers.

Keeping Employees safe with a training safety video produced by DW Video,
Big Rapids-Rockford-Greenville-Keeping Employees safe is the goal of an employer and to provide them the proper training to do so. At DW Video we not only work in the communities mentioned, we cover the great state of Michigan. Have camera… will travel. Our job is to tell your story. From promotion to training and safety videos that is our job and we do it well.
According to Greg Schuetz, “I am the Human Resources Director at Steeltech Ltd. Steeltech is a foundry that produces stainless steel castings. It is my responsible for the safety of our employees.”
People today learn by watching. They learn by observing the right way to do a task and then with practice master the job. At DW Video we tell your story.
“Duane produced safety videos for our facility. They highlighted equipment that can be hazardous if not operated correctly”, states Greg. “So far, we have made 3 videos and are planning on producing other ones for our company.”
[youtube_sc url=”http://youtu.be/rWO1IOr6uOY” title=”Safety%20Video” rel=”0″]
It all begins with a script that provides the content and provides a shot list when it comes time to pull out the cameras. When capturing digital video it includes a series of long shots to establish where we are and close ups to highlight the detail of what is being demonstrated.
According to Greg, “I like working with Duane, because he is flexible on scheduling and working with us during production. He learns the process of the equipment that we are highlighting and understands the nature of what we’re doing and the safety features that are important to highlight for our people. He is also very responsive. Recently, I had to make a dvd for a doctor regarding a workers compensation issue. I had the video on my cell phone. The doctor needed it right away and Duane was able to do it the same day and he down-loaded off my phone and loaded it on to the dvd while I waited.”

The statement ” Safety can include protection of people or of possessions,” is what SteelTech in Grand Rapids is all about. They use safety videos to train and educate their employees.
At DW Video we produce various types and styles of video. For this video shoot it was in a dirty cold foundry. Reminded me of it is a “Dirty job but someone has to do it” .
Steeltech is a a foundry. What this means is there are unique safety considerations that one should be aware of as you work here and move around through the facility. The safety video will cover how to operate the Redford-Carver 43-A Core Machine. Training and Safety Videos produced by DW Video and Multimedia, LLC
Foundry work is dirty and cold in the winter. Producer-Director Duane Weed does what it takes to get the shot.
Remember, safety is our top priority.
Safety glasses or goggles must always be worn when operating this equipment.

When producing a training video we start with a script, the goal is to keep it simple and not to ramble. The script is our guide to getting the digital video shots needed for the final production. Very important to be prepared. For this shoot I used two cameras to get the various shots needed.
A couple more tips when producing saftey and training videos – Keep it as short as possible. Like I mentioned – don’t ramble. Audio is 90% of a good training video. Capturing the wild or natural sound and blending is important. Recording the talent either on-camera or in a booth – the step by step procedure narrated needs to be clean.
The final version of this video was then edited Spanish as well. Watch the video to learn more about training and safety videos for your business. Then call Duane at 231-937-5420.
According to http://study.com/academy/lesson/safe-working-conditions-purpose-lesson-quiz.html, “Every year millions of people are injured on the job. Learn more about the laws governing workplace safety and the programs in place to compensate injured workers and their families. Each year almost three out of every 100 workers will suffer a workplace injury or illness serious enough for them to miss work.” The article goes on to state, “Under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, employers are responsible for providing a safe and healthy work environment. The Act requires employers to comply with specific occupational safety and health standards and to keep records of occupational injuries and illnesses.”
At DW Video we work with you and your staff in producing just the right video to keep your employees safe.
