Having campers share their experiences at summer camp is important to the Bil-O-Wood story.
Camp Bil-O-Wood is a privately owned children’s summer camp in Northern Ontario for boys and girls aged 7-17. Camp Bil-O-Wood is a family owned and operated enterprise with over 70 years of camping success, founded in 1946. The beauty of the camp is that is sits on over 500 acres and on two private lakes.
DW Video has been promoting Camp Bil-O-Wood
since the mid 1980’s. Loving the area it has 12 camper cabins, a 15-room main lodge, a dining hall for 200, a health center, a craft center, an all purpose outdoor pavilion for 200, and a maintenance building. The activity areas include a full size soccer field, 3 tennis courts, 2 volleyball courts, 2 basketball courts, a baseball field, an archery range, a weight training pavilion, and over a mile of waterfront activity area for sailing, swimming, water volleyball, water polo, waterskiing, wakeboarding, and more.
It has been our honor to see the change over from one generation to another. Today, Camp Bil-O-Wood is operated by a 3rd generation husband and wife with a 30-year background in camping and master’s degree’s in nursing and education.

“Duane has always been very open to accommodating our needs,” Siterlet says. He explains that Weed has been great about grasping what Thermal-Tec does as a company and then finding ways to communicate that visually. From scriptwriting to editing, Siterlet says that Weed worked on the whole process.

DW Video produces a variety of digital media content to help Michigan businesses. Services they provide include brand promotion, website videos, corporate videos, web site design, web applications and more. DW Video also films special event videos such as sporting events, competitions and recitals. Other services include transferring Video and Film to DVD.
Tom Ludwig, owner of Camp Bil-O-Wood in Ontario, Canada has also worked with Weed for nearly 30 years. DW Video has produced promotional videos for the children’s camp. Weed would film onsite, capturing video of the camp’s programs and interviewed staff members, campers and their parents.

This is why we monitor and make changes only where necessary.
For our International client Camp Bil-O-Wood “After 4 consecutive months of over 1000 visitors per month, the drop to 772 visitors in August was expected and slightly above last year’s 600 visitors (Summer Camp is over). The main surprise was the increase to almost 8 percent of visitors coming from Western Europe. This will be one of our main focal points over the coming months”.
