Once weve authored a winning interactive experience for you and your target audience, its time to go to the production phase. There are a number of delivery options - CD-ROM, Mini-CD, Business-Card CDs, DVD, Internet distribution, Web broadcast, and soon there will be solid-state options, too. Then theres labeling and packaging. What will be most effective? A full-color label or multicolor printing onto the media? A printed sleeve, self-mailer or jewel case with inserts? Custom packaging that incorporates POP-ready graphics, documentation or some accompanying human-readable data? Do we need additional documentation, manuals, registration/reply cards, and a box to carry it all?
Of course most of these decisions will have been made up front, but here is how the process unfolds: While the interactive content is being authored, all these other components will be coming along as well, and with careful project management, all will come together ready for the factory phase just in time. Coordination of the various components can be critical to the timely launch of your product, and we are well aware of these production cycles and requirements - we do it every day!
Dont forget the support materials, too. Advertising, point-of-purchase, trade show displays, direct mail, e-mail, and web marketing - all the means to let your target audience know that this outstanding interactive experience awaits them!
