Courage and compassion - two key ingredients in this project. Duane started off by producing a six-minute-40-second pledge video entitled "Mushing Defeats CF." The video showed Tim and Lori Layne training their team of dogs for the Ididirod along with interviews from Dr. John Schuen, DeVos Childrens Hospital, Chuck Howe, District Manager USPS, and Pete and Bobbie Odland, parents of Dylan.

Shortly after Duane finished the video, David began work on a series of commemorative postcards available through the US Post Office.
