If you've ever been in a Meijer Store and had demonstrators offer you a sample of a product... that's Show & Tell. Whenever Meijer opens a new store Show & Tell needs more demonstrators and they need to train these people in a consistent manner. They did this with a training video and resource guide produced by Duane Weed and the Creative Team. The Solution: Hire "The Creative Team"! Steve Yankee went to work writing a new Reference Guide and companion training video. Producer Duane Weed over seen the entire project starting with turning the studio into a set for the video. Using a tele-prompter (what the news people use to read the news) the entire script was imported to the computer. On-Camera talent Kathy Murphy was called upon to be the spokesperson. Duane and Editor: John Heitman spent over 36 hours editing the final project ending up with a 26 minute training video. According to Nathan Hickman, Vice President Show & Tell. "This is one of the best training videos ever produced for our industry. The Creative Team understood what we needed to achieve our goals... they did a great job". |
